This is a great time to be buy Italian wines. They are delicious, unique, and very affordable. Italy resisted This is slightly expensive for the quality, but it's not bad and definitely very enjoyable. It is expensive because the grape is grown in the classical region of Chianti, where wines have been grown for thousands of years. I don't think the term, reserva, is regulated in Italy. I think it just means aged.

Quality: Good.

Of course, you want to pair this with Italian food. Pasta, lasagna, other things with tomato sauce or balsamic vinegar. Think acidic food but stay away from seafood or cream.
